Pure Sea is a non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting and replenishing the future of our oceans. Furthermore, Pure Sea works to inspire communities, promote sustainability, and encourage long-term environmental change. At the same time, the organisation supports practical solutions that help protect marine ecosystems for future generations.
The Pure Sea mission focuses on protecting marine life and raising awareness. In addition, the organisation creates positive solutions to prevent more plastic pollution from entering the ocean. Moreover, it supports educational initiatives and community-led environmental projects. As a result, more people are becoming involved in protecting local coastlines and waterways.
Currently, we have a large and dedicated group of supporters and Volunteer Beach Officers across the UK, Scotland, and Ibiza. Consequently, our teams regularly take part in beach and river clean-ups throughout these regions. In turn, these activities help remove harmful waste while also encouraging local communities to take action and support environmental conservation.
Moreover, we organise public campaigns, festivals, auctions, and music events throughout the year. Through these events, we help provide funding for marine research centres and similar organisations. In addition, we support groups that rescue marine life affected by plastic pollution and overfishing. Therefore, every event contributes directly to raising awareness and supporting marine conservation efforts.
In addition, our events feature exhibitions that showcase green initiatives, sustainable businesses, and environmentally friendly products. At the same time, organisers encourage people to join beach clean-ups and support local environmental programmes. Furthermore, we provide dustbins to local schools in order to promote responsible plastic waste management. As a result, communities are encouraged to develop healthier consumption habits and reduce unnecessary waste.
Furthermore, Pure Sea actively seeks alternatives to single-use plastics. Meanwhile, we continue to raise awareness through media campaigns, public events, and school education programmes. Consequently, we have already encouraged many individuals and communities to make positive lifestyle changes.
